This is an old Moroccan melody for Kol Nidrei, sung in an Western, choral style. It’s good for us in this Ashkenazi-dominated Jewish world to remember that European Jewish traditions are not as Mi Sinai as we often feel that they are. There have always been Jews in other places too, doing different things.
I found this through the blog of Rabbi Phyllis Sommer, Ima on (and off) the Bima.
I wish everyone a focused fast.
